Rise and Shine

Every morning the sun rises as it has done so for 4.5 billion years. It provides light and energy for all living things. Solar panels, trackers, and awnings collect this energy and convert it into useable electrical power and heating. This energy is clean, limitless, renewable, reliable, and silent.

Solar systems are modular, which means they can be installed incrementally as finances and growth permit. Large state rebates and Federal tax credits also contribute to solar's appeal. It is an affordable and attainable alternative energy source that works for you.

EIN assists you the building owners, commercial tenants, homeowners, architects and builders understand the economic feasibility, as well as the positive environmental effects.

EIN will assess the building and propose one or a combination of the following solutions:

Solar awnings are composed of solar electric panels mounted on attractive steel frames. These provide electric power generation as well as an additional 30%± in air conditioning energy savings by shading the summer sun from windows below the solar awning.

Ground mounted solar electric panels in the form of solar pergolas and carport roofs that provide shade and weather shielding.

Sun tracking solar panels can increase power generation up to 30% more than fixed panels but are best suited to blue-sky environments not predominantly hazy sun eastern locations.

Solar panel sculptures. Unique and functioning, solar panel sculpture is of interest to art collectors and environmentalists. Darek Shapiro, architect at EIN, creates, engineers, manufactures, and installs solar sculptures.

Economical rooftop solar options. We engineer for maximum energy output in energy conservation through day-lighting design and low wattage LED and CFL equipment selection.

Green Roof and Solar Combination

Green roofs are planted roof coverings that insulate buildings, reduce the heat island effect, and retain and delay storm water runoff. Additionally, green roofs can share the roof with solar electric panels or thermal solar collectors to generate electricity or hot water.

We will guide you the owner, tenant. or risk manager through the entire process from financing, through design, to installation.

Federal Tax Credit for Solar Energy Systems

Tax credits are available for qualified solar water heating and photovoltaic systems. The credits are available for systems "placed in service" from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2008. The tax credit is for 30% of the cost of the system, up to $2,000.
